Elam, Todd, d’Ambrosi was founded in 1996, by Charles M. “Boots” Elam, Barbara T. Todd, and Donald A. d’Ambrosi. These founding partners collectively have over 100 years of professional work experience. Today, ETd, PA has become a leader and a visionary within the industry.
ETd has provided Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture services for over 15 years and civil engineering services for over 7 years. In August 2004, ETd added GIS mapping services to municipal and private clients. The company expanded into Murrells Inlet in 2000 with the creation of ETd of South Carolina.
Robbins and Associates, an award-winning golf course design group, merged with ETd in early 2006. With Robbins and Associates on board, ETd adds world-class golf course design to our range of services.
ETd is a full service firm, offering a one stop shop for consulting services that streamlines the design and development process. ETd offers Urban Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geographic Information System Services, Civil Engineering, Construction Administration, Project Management, and Golf Course Design.
ETd has successfully served as the lead firm for a number of high-profile planned communities and mixed-use projects. We also have helped in developing numerous small development projects. Some of these projects have required a special focus on the specific needs of the community. Others require environmentally conscious design techniques. We have successfully incorporated those specific needs into all aspects of development. ETd’s broad scope of services enables us to handle a project from the initial conceptual planning and visioning process, through site design, regulatory approvals, and construction administration.
ETd is also a member of a parks and recreation planning team with Ripken Management and Design (RMD). RMD is one of four components of the Ripken Baseball Group founded by Cal Ripken Jr., and his brother Bill Ripken. With the addition of the Ripken experience and expertise our team can provide design input for sports and recreational facilities to assure that they provide excellent land utilization and site design. Through their experience of design, management and operation, youth clinics and academies, coaching clinics, adult baseball camp experiences, and the Aberdeen Maryland Ironbirds Single A Minor League franchise, the Ripken Baseball Group brings a unique perspective to recreational facilities planning and programming. With this partnership, we are able to utilize their consulting services as needed.
